Pros: Handling, Reliable(thus far!),Interior,Gas Mileage shifts/rides quietly,air-tight, stereo, seats, cruise control Cons: Back seats, dash, gas gauge, problem starting sometimes, passenger window, rear wiper, seats. The Bottom Line: I recommend this van to anyone who needs a reliable, inexpensive, all purpose vehicle. It is truly a joy to drive and I have never been happier with another vehicle.
Exterior: The body style is very unique! I would say it looks like a horizontal splinter, but in a good way because it makes the car very aerodynamic. I can't imagine it looking any other way. The design is very sleek and easy to clean when you go to ...

Pros: Cheap, big trunk, looks OK. Cons: Cheaply designed and built - with all the negative consequences. The Bottom Line: Could be an acceptable, about-average car, if not for terrible reliability. I regret ever buying it.
This car was bought in late 1996 from auction for my wife, to be driven daily to work. The car looked very nice and had about 45K on it, supposedly. It was one of our favorite choices due to reasonable price, good safety reputation, seating for 6, and...

Pros: Good fuel mileage, very good rustproofing, size, comfort, winter driveability Cons: Early drivetrain wear, very poor rear brake design, plummeting resale value The Bottom Line: Not recommended this long after manufacture, high repair costs make it a poor choice as a cheap second car.
I bought this car used in 1999, it was in very good cosmetic condition with 100,000 kilometres on the odometer. It was neither a good car or bad over the six years I drove it, merely mediocre. The good gas mileage and cheap insurance were balanced by the ...

Pros: Versatility, good drive train, smooth solid ride, ample handling, rear bucket seats w/ shoulder belts. Cons: needed more ceiling height. No rear seat headrests. No sunroof. Dash comes unglued someday. The Bottom Line: The Lumina APV was clearly better made than the Sedan. Although many buyers shunned its shape, it was produced for 7 years - probably because it was better than most.
BASICS:
BODY: None better - without question. This type of vehicle is equipped with a really tough, dent-free, rust-free composite body, and painted with quality coatings (except sometimes for the black roof parts, which on older models may...

Pros: Great passing power at higher RPMs. Clean, aggressive looks. Nice interior. Cons: Not great 0-60, 3.4L never had bugs worked out. The Bottom Line: If you are lucky enough to get a Z-34 without the engine problems, you'll find yourself a good sport coupe with stunning looks.
I owned a 1993 Lumina Z-24 in torch red for 8 years before trading it in last year for an S-10 ZR-2. When I first had the car, I loved everything about it. It was my first new car, however, so much of my vision was clouded. It actually was pretty nice...

Pros: dependable, affordable Cons: wind noise
We traded in a custom van for a 1993 Lumina Euro with 20,000 miles on it because we no longer needed to haul the kids around. The Lumina still gave us the room to carry extra people with some comfort. Overall this car has been dependable.
We...

Pros: Fun to look at, fun to drive....thats about it. Cons: Spotty dependability.. looks faster than it actually is. The Bottom Line: Good looks and plenty of bang for the buck.
I didn't rent nor own this vehicle, but I have driven it for a considerable amount of time.....enough time to write an opinion about it. This car was bought off the lot used and had 27000 miles on it, now it has 103000 miles ...and it is ready to be...

When I saw that this car was for sale, I couldn't resist buying it. The sleek look that it has besides the fact that its a 93 vechile gives it a look of class. With a 3.1 liter v-6 under the hood it gives you the power that you might need should it...

Pros: price, comfort, reliability Cons: none I can think of
The Chevy Lumina is a great car. It has comfortable seating for at least 4 adults. It has a nice list of standard features and the cost is not high at all. The best part of this car is how it handles. It runs very smoothly and handles bumpy roads as...

Pros: Love the options, ABS breaks. Cons: The design of the engine. The Bottom Line: This car is excellent for long trips with great gas millage.
I bought this car used and had few problems. The normal stuff like changing the spark plugs and wires. The major problem was the Alternator. I was driving home from supper one day and the voltage light came on. The way Chevy design the motor was to put...

Pros: Fast, great looks, good handling Cons: Expensive repairs, exotic engine
I purchased a 1993 Z34 new back in October of 1992 and owned it until November of 1999. Needless to say I got to know this vehicle very well. The first couple of years this was truly a wonderful car. Power, gas mileage, good ride, it had it all. ...

Pros: Economical to buy Cons: Starting to croak at 120K miles The Bottom Line: Typical Chevy. Will get you there and cost $200 a month.
Is is just me or is the steering wheel on this thing GIGANTIC? It's like steering a codfish.
Anyway, life with Lumina has been uneventful. Like most Chevys, this is basic transportation and nothing more.
At 120,000 miles it is...

Pros: All of the seats are bucket seats, a rare thing to find in most minivans. Cons: None. The Bottom Line: I love it because it has always been good to me.
I have owned my 1993 Lumina APV for six years now (Since summer '95)and I have loved all the time. The design of this van is, in my opinion, superior to all the competitors. Mine has the larger V-6 engine, and it may not do 0-60 in 6 seconds flat, but...
